The Quantum Frontiers International Research Laboratory (IRL) follows 40 years of Franco-Quebec collaboration, exchange and research. The laboratory is structured around three areas of quantum physics: quantum materials, quantum circuits and devices, and quantum technologies. Its aim is to conduct cutting-edge international collaborative research, facilitate the exchange of researchers and students between Sherbrooke and France, and foster emerging projects between the two IRL communities. Researchers benefit from the complementarity of experimental measurement facilities between Sherbrooke and French laboratories, the use of major research infrastructures in France (including the LNCMI), the sharing of computing resources, and the Quantum Fab Lab at the Institut Quantique de Sherbrooke.
