Whether you are a visitor or a future employee (permanent – fixed-term contract – trainee – doctoral student<\/strong>), you must accept the IT charter before using the laboratory’s IT resources.<\/p>\n Internet connexion :<\/u><\/p>\n Two Wi-Fi networks are available at LNCMI Grenoble: the Eduroam network<\/strong> and a guest Wi-Fi network<\/strong>. Laboratory access :<\/u><\/p>\n Access to the laboratory requires authorization to open certain doors with a badge.<\/p>\n Printing :<\/u><\/p>\n At present, we do not offer printing solutions for visitors. However, you can ask your local contact to print your documents if required. <\/p>\n Internet connexion :<\/u><\/p>\n A wired network<\/strong> is available for access to printers, license servers and data servers. User data :<\/u><\/p>\n Data servers are backed up regularly to ensure maximum protection in the event of any incident (hardware or otherwise<\/strong>). We strongly recommend that you store your most important data on these servers, to guarantee its security.<\/p>\n Please note that the CNRS prohibits the use of AI using your work\/research\/internship data, but also clouds such as OneDrive, DropBox, GoogleDrive, etc…<\/p>\n Mails :<\/u><\/p>\n When you arrive, the IT department <\/strong>will set up an e-mail account.Visitors :<\/h2>\n

Only PCs installed and listed by the IT department can connect to this network. Any other PC will be considered a guest PC<\/strong> and will only have access to the guest network. <\/p>\n

Please note that the CNRS forbids any synchronization with Google\/Microsoft<\/strong>, so it is forbidden <\/strong>to set up your CNRS mailbox on the GMAIL <\/strong>application of your smartphone or tablet.<\/p>\n
