Our research focuses on the understanding and control of correlated matter such as high-Tc superconductors, quantum liquids, and semimetals in their quantum limit. Our favorite experimental tools to explore those systems are ultrasound velocity and attenuation, transport and thermoelectric coefficients. We tune and control the ground state of those materials with the use of high magnetic fields and uniaxial strain.
